SCHOOL HEALTH PROMOTION POLICY

We, students, teachers and parents believe that physical and mental health are fundamental values to which every human being is entitled.

In pursuit of that   belief, WE DECLARE our readiness to make our school and the surrounding area a healthy environment. With this in mind, we bring together our efforts in support of the implementation of a comprehensive school policy promoting healthy lifestyle and in our actions we shall adhere to the following principles:

  • Recognition of the right of everyone to take independent decisions about their lifestyle and health;
  • Creation of an atmosphere of trust and transparency in relations among students, teachers and parents;
  • Suppression of the influence of health risk factors at school and the surrounding area;
  • Promotion of school standards, rules and procedures  in relation to the use and possession of narcotic substances (alcohol, cigarettes and other drug substances), accepted by students, teachers and parents;
  • Provision of support to students at risk in order to prevent their social exclusion, in keeping with clear rules and procedures;
  • Encouragement of a positive attitude to healthy lifestyle by furnishing objective and credible information and involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
